As a registered charity, Crossroads Care Uttlesford relies heavily on voluntary donations to continue its work in the community. It costs approximately £16-18 to provide one hour of respite care for a carer in Uttlesford.
- £75 will pay for a care support worker to attend a mandatory training session
- £175 will pay for the colour printing of an edition of our newsletter “Keeping in Touch”
- £200 will pay for a year’s supply of leaflets explaining the service we offer to carers
- We expect the number of carers to increase and demands for our service to rise in future years. We know it is vital that we find ways of expanding and diversifying our services whilst maintaining the highest standards. We want to reach carers earlier and more effectively. Monetary restrictions expected in the next few years will demand increasing efficiency.You may be assured that all the money we raise will go towards these aims and that the carers needs will be kept central to everything that we do.
